Jason Berv and Dave Lasky met over 10 years ago, when both were running different organizations focused on experiential education. Dave had spent 10 years as a raft guide and instructor on 50 day wilderness expeditions for youth. He also spent a year working for a now defunct custom frame builder. Jason spent the same 10 years stuck in a library getting very very smart. Jason founded a thriving school based on innovative experiential education. Dave switched careers to restoration forestry and wildland firefighting. They stayed friends and AVID outdoor enthusiasts. (www.herokit.com)
